Youth minister, UN official talk about improving collaboration
According to the Youth Ministry, Adwan urged for greater youth collaboration with UN agencies in Jordan throughout the course of the summit.
He underlined the ministry’s main priorities, which included boosting youth empowerment and their involvement in political, economic, and social life, safeguarding young people from the dangers of drugs, and revitalizing youth centers in three main aspects; developing programs, constructing youth spaces, and training youth staff.
He also mentioned the ministry's priorities, which include executing UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security,carrying out the national youth study to shape the 2026–2030 National Youth Strategy, encouraging volunteerism, and backing young people in the technology sector via business incubators.
The announcement stated that the ministry prioritizes initiatives designed to boost youth involvement in areas like environmental protection, public health, and athletics.
